emorphious thin film is only 10% efficient verses mono or poly “hard” pv at 14-16%. I am all for flexible panels, but the technology is just not up to par yet. This is the same garbage that is used in the cheesy harbor freight 45 watt solar panel system.

Those are excellent panels, and we install them along with our metal roofing panels, for which they are designed.

Very interesting! How many panels would one need to fully cater to a family’s needs, 24.7?, and how long do you think before they become fully cost effective?

great solar panel. mine is 18 inches and sized for my back pack. i tested it on a dead car battery and it charged it by 32% in 2hrs. which was amazing compared to my glass panel ones. mine is made by PowerFilm Solar. i can only imagine how strong it would if longer. great stuff.

Very interesting video. You should try submitting this to the show “Shark Tank” on TV. I’m sure that this would be successful.

@mixcatcom Great idea I will have to try this out for myself one day
You should try running an 80-Watt Mercury Vapour Lamp on this they last 100 times longer than those Compact Florescent lamps moreover with what’s going on around the world today there wont be much time before we will all have to support our selves with growing our food & supply our electricity Those illuminati bastards are going to make life very difficult for us
